This Lapland adventure is basically Hallmark-movie-magic come to life! You know that cosy, snow-filled dreamworld we all see in Christmas films? That’s what inspired me to make this trip happen! Seeing those picture-perfect festive, snowy Hallmark scenes and (accidentally) experiencing my own little winter escape in Georgia a few years back gave me the buzz for it, and I just knew I had to create something like it.
As adults, we don’t get anywhere near enough chances to let loose and be big kids again. So I'm throwing it all into this trip - fun where you play in the snow, make snow angels, get giddy over meeting the REAL Santa, ride snowmobiles into the sunset, drink hot chocolate with piles of whipped cream and feel that spark of excitement that makes this time of year so special.

We'll been relaxing in our very own private hot tub under the Northern Lights*, dashing through the snow with Huskies and ice skating through tree-lined forest trails!
Did I miss the best part? This is a New Years Eve trip, which means that we'll watch the fireworks together and set our intentions and goals for the year ahead, as well as party the night away in ice bars before curling up by the fireplace in our fluffy socks.

Real people with high vibes and BIG bucket lists who drooled over Pinterest boards of faraway destinations and were itching to meet other travel-inspired wanderlusters!
Sharing my travels online would lead to comments like "Take me with you!" and "Can I be your new travel buddy?" So eventually (after a few years of dreaming), I took their word for it!
Last year I finally opened up the vault to my travel-planning secrets and whisked a bunch of Travel Addicts on my debut group adventure. (And the demand got even higher!)

FAQ's
Can I bring a friend?
Yes absolutely! The more the merrier. If you have a travel buddy that you would like to experience this with, be sure to include their name on your registration form once you’ve signed up. This will ensure that you are paired together for your room share.
Do I have to share a room?
Yes, for this trip, we are unable to offer private rooms due to the limited rooms in our private cabin. But our other trips have private room options.
How do I make payments?
You can either Pay In Full (discounted rate) via the payment link when you register, or you can pay the initial deposit of £149 followed by six instalments:

£149 Deposit, plus six recurring monthly instalments of £345
When is the final balance due?
The latest the final balance is due is October 1st 2025
What date do I need to arrive into Lapland?
You will need to fly into Rovaniemi Airport (RVN) on the 29th December 2025 and depart on the 2nd January 2026 in order to be eligible for the airport transfers. Please arrive before 3pm on arrival day, and depart after 12pm on departure day if possible.
Does this include international flights? What if I would like flights to be arranged?
The cost of this trip does NOT include your flights, so be sure to factor that into your trip cost. You can either book using a website such as Skyscanner, or we can direct you to a registered travel agent who will be more than happy to help and alleviate any stress when it comes to booking flights. You will need to fly into Rovaniemi Airport (RVN) and we will arrange for transport to collect you.
Do I need a visa?
Depending on where you will be traveling from, there are likely to be visa requirements so please be sure to check this beforehand. To look at up to date UK GOV requirements please check here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/finland
Can children come?
All guests will need to be over 18 to join one of our trips.
Who is this trip best suited to?
Any age is welcome! Based on the activities in the trip and previous Travel Addicts groups we would probably recommend between 25 to 45.
Is this group trip accessible for those with physical disabilities?
If you have a disability or condition that you have concerns about, please contact us directly on sherilyn@thetraveladdicts.co.uk so that we can see if the trip would be suitable for you personally. Some areas that we will be visiting have a lot of inclines and uneven landscapes so it may be challenging, however, based on your personal situation, we would love to see how we can make this work for you.
